内容提要

本书在安徽省高等学校“十一五”规划教材的基础上修订,为英语专业泛读教材。《阅读拓展(4学生用书)》侧重英语专业与其他领域知识的融会贯通,共8个单元,每单元围绕一个题材和一个阅读技巧展开,并提供阅读材料。文章大多选自英语国家近年来出版的图书、知名杂志和网站,长度适中,难度相宜。本书合理设计课堂练习和课外活动,有针对性地训练学生的阅读技能。练习中安排了适量的口语和写作活动,有利于整合学生语言能力,激发学生学习兴趣,提高课堂教学效果。
